Konka Farm House
Imagine a charming abode that’s perfect for gathering your crew! The Konka Farm House is your spacious sanctuary, comfortably hosting a maximum of 6-12 guests. With three inviting double beds and ensuite bathrooms as well as the option to add on Antoinette’s Cottage, Korbeel Cottage and The Office, which are attached to the main Farm House, you can extend the number for up to 12 guests for larger groups.
It is the ideal place for laughter-filled evenings and lazy mornings.

Nestled in a serene corner, Antoinette’s Cottage is perfect for lovebirds or best buddies. This cozy retreat features a double bed and an ensuite bathroom, sleeping 2.

Looking for a snug spot? Korbeel Cottage, has you covered with two single beds and an ensuite. Bring your ‘person’ and make some memories!

Rooidam Cottage
For families or small groups, Rooidam Cottage offers one double bed and two single beds. Rooidam can accommodate a maximum of 4 people but with prior arrangements, we can supply a sofa bed for a young child. Gather around for storytelling or game nights—this cottage is all about togetherness and quality time together.

Oudam Cottage
Oudam (Old Dam) cottage is our current renovation project situated around the old round cement dam located on a little hill with beautiful views of the farmyard and surroundings. It consists of 2 double ensuite bedroom with an open plan kitchen opening to a wooden deck with great under cover outside “braai”. It is ideal for families of up to 4 members.

Calling all nature lovers! Our Campsites are equipped with bathrooms and kitchens, each comfortably sleeping 6 adventurers and accommodating 2 vehicles. Pitch your tent under the stars or Karee trees and let the great outdoors embrace you!

For the truly adventurous souls, Kareebos Campsite awaits! Fully off-road and self-contained, all you need to bring is your adventurous spirit and a love for nature. Get ready to explore and unwind in the wild!
Please note, there is no running water, showers or toilet facilities available at the campsites.

The firewood in our units is not included in the rates for the accommodation, please ask your host for prices.
Mobile phones & Wi-Fi
At Konka Guest Farm, there is no cell phone reception due to the fact that we are near the SKA (Square Kilometre Array) site! The area is a “radio frequency reserve” which means a specific portion of the radio spectrum is set aside or reserved for specific uses by the SKA. This absence can be viewed positively for several reasons:

The SKA is one of the world’s largest and most sensitive radio telescopes, designed to observe the universe in unprecedented detail. To maintain its scientific integrity, the area around the SKA must be free from radio frequency interference, which can be caused by cell phone towers and other electronic devices. This commitment to preserving a pristine environment allows scientists to conduct their research without disruptions from external signals.
Enhanced Natural Experience
Visitors can enjoy a unique opportunity to disconnect and immerse yourself in the stunning natural surroundings. The lack of cell phone reception encourages guests to engage more deeply with their environment, fostering a sense of peace and tranquillity that is often lost in our hyper-connected world.
